What we collect
flights.run currently has no user accounts and sets no advertising or analytics cookies. We collect:
- Standard server logs (IP address, requested page, browser type) kept briefly for security and troubleshooting.
- Outbound-click events when you click through to a booking site: we record which deal was clicked and a one-way salted hash derived from your IP and browser — we cannot identify you from it. This measures which deals are useful and supports affiliate attribution.
Third parties
Pages load a script from Travelpayouts ("Drive"), our affiliate network, which is required to attribute bookings you make after clicking our links; it may set cookies on the booking sites' side under their own policies. When you click out to a booking site (e.g., Aviasales, Google Flights), that site's own privacy policy applies.
Where data lives
Our servers are located in Canada. We don't sell personal information. We keep price data — not personal data — long-term to compute typical prices.
Your rights
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or complain — email the privacy officer above. If we ever introduce accounts, email alerts, or analytics, this policy will be updated first and consent collected where required (including under PIPEDA and Québec's Law 25).
